LOCAL BEACHES

As you leave the villa, take a left and either walk down the hill to to the beautiful stone / sand beach of Paliolinos, it has a BBQ area and shower. It’s very quiet and stunning at sunset.

The next beach which is seven minutes drive from the villa is Spartia, drive up the hill to the mini market, and take the second right at the bins and follow signs to Spartia. This is a lovely sand beach, frequented by locals. It has a shower at the end of the beach near the car park. It has a bar called Waterway which has the most beautiful view of the sea.

MINI MARKET

At the top of the hill is Green Corner Mini Market, this is a family run shop, the owners are wonderful and so friendly. They stock local wines and beer, milk, water, fresh eggs, fruit and veg, toiletries etc. They also serve wonderful souvlaki and roast chicken in the evening in their square cafe. On Thursdays they often have live music starting at 8pm, its great to support them and the food is simple, tasty and very reasonably priced.

AB SUPERMARKET

This supermarket offers most choice and is situated on the road down to Agrostoli. Leave the villa going up to the hill to the mini market, follow the road through the village, when you get to the end of the road take a left turn, follow the road till you meet the main road. Turn right, then at the cross roads take the left. Follow the road all the way down to a roundabout, take the right and you will see AB Supermarket on your left.

There is also another supermarket just before the roundabout on the right for other choice, this does have a small butchers counter.

BUTCHERS

If you enjoy to cook, we would recommend using this butchers in Agrostoli, Alex the owner speaks perfect English and is very knowledgeable and helpful. His burgers, prepared souvlaki and steaks are wonderful for the BBQ, he also stocks frozen fish, eggs, wine, BBQ rubs and salad dressings, and cordial orange for the children! They are located in Agrostoli on the street with the Shell and BP garage.

RESTAURANTS

There are many great restaurants, depending on your taste a few that we like are the following.

Close to the villa is ISALOS this is in Spartia, lovely greek restaurant with friendly staff, and a great menu. We would recommend booking, this can be done by calling them on +30 6937 721021 or via Facebook messenger.

A real favourite is Olive Lounge, this is up at St Georges Castle, about twelve minutes from the villa, sunning views and fabulous food and service. You MUST book as it gets very busy. Book online www.olivelounge.gr

WaterWay in Spartia is also very good, because the view is stunning pre sunset, just be aware ordering fish and lobster can be an eyeopener due to price by weight!

Melograno in the centre of Vallianou square in Agrostoli is very good, it has a vibrant ambiance due to being in the square, great for the adults to relax while the children play in the square. During high season always recommend to book.

The Olive Grove on the main road up to the village of Klismata is also a good choice for greek food, good service and a pretty setting.
