VILLA ETIQUETTE

KEY CARD

Removing the key will turn off the power inside the Villa. This is to save electricity and be more sustainable. The keys are attached to the card.

SWIMMING POOL

As you are aware this is a private villa, so swimming is at your own risk, please make sure that children are supervised at all times.

Diving is prohibited, or at your own risk.

PLEASE DO NOT USE SUN TAN OIL. This causes a build up of product on the swimming pool liner which can take days to remove. Please use the outdoor shower prior to entering the pool and on exit. If Tanning OIL is used and the pool liner is effected then there will be an additional cost to you due the additional costs to clean the pool and filters.

Please avoid small objects entering the filter as if this blocks, the pumps will over ride and will be a huge cost to replace. Please remove small plastic objects prior to leaving the pool.

Below is an image of when Suntan OIL was used and no pre swimming showering took place, please make sure that your feet are clean when entering the pool.

In this space which we feel is paradise, there are wasps, ants and other insects which share our habitat. We would suggest that you open the doors but keep the mosquito net doors closed, this will allow you to be cool without air conditioning but keep the bugs out. Mosquitos are here, so use repellent and citronella candles etc . Eating outside may attract wasps depending on the season. We would suggest that eating after sunset makes sure that you are wasp free.

Air conditioning in the house during the day is not normally necessary, please open doors and use the nets, this will reduce electric costs and save our planet. In the evening the villa may become warm, so please use the air conditioning, once waking please turn off.

PLANTS

The gardener will visit the villa twice per month however, it is hot, and if you could help keep the villa looking at its best, it would be kind if you can water the plants if possible! We have an orange and lemon tree, plus lavender and geraniums in pots. Then on the fence towards the back of the garden there are four bougainvillea plants, plus one in the pot at the car port, we would be grateful if you could water them, but understand its your holiday so may not feel inclined to do so.

POOL INFLATABLES

Again to sustain the planet and reduce waste, we ask if possible to leave any pool inflatables for the next guests, obviously if you wish to take home then please do, but if possible to leave them that would be kind.

TOILET PAPER AND TOILETS.

PLEASE refrain from disposing toilet tissue and sanitary items in the toilet, please use the bin provided and change the bin regularly.
